Old Town Inspiration - Vintage Treats!
I ventured into Hastings Old Town today with Danny and my older sister, The Style PA, to peruse Hastings Old Town for vintage inspiration. We also went to view a potential wedding venue (but that's a story for another blog post. Needless to say it was mightily exciting!). These lovely scrabble rings were courtesy of Little Treasures, one of my favourite shops in the old town.
The Imaginarium in the Old Town junk yard... I think if I visited the junk yard every weekend for a year, I would never struggle to find new and interesting things each and every time!

My Home - Before and After... The Big Transformation!
There is nothing quite as exciting as moving house and making the new place your very own. In September we moved into a new place and, while it was very exciting, it needed an immense amount of hard work! We have finally got more or less everything sorted now in our cosy little flat - apart from the flooring in the bathroom. So I thought I'd share the before and after pictures with you all!

The Writing on the Wall - Chalkboard Paint
As a young child I had a sort of fascination with drawing on the walls. I always found it irresistible and so appealing. I think it was something about having all that space to draw, along with the fact that I wasn't allowed to do it of course! So naturally I love the idea of chalkboard paint. There are just so many ways to use it and to let your creative juices flow. After trawling the wonderful world wide web of blogs I found some really lovely ideas.
via Design Sponge - I need one of these for work, making 6 cups of tea and then remembering whose is whose gets a bit tricky!
Via Bedzine - I think this is a great idea, and all sorts of things can be painted with chalkboard paint: bottles, boxes, plant pots etc.
I love this! It's a brilliant way of writing up and remembering some of my favourite recipes.
Via Everything Fabulous - no longer will you need x-ray eyes to know what's in the kitchen cupboards!

Beautiful Bedspreads!
I have been wanting to jazz up my bedroom with a new bedspread. After having a little search on the internet I came across this cute patchwork double duvet cover from Urban Outfitters. Unfortunately for me I decided that I loved it before looking at the price label of £125. One day, when I'm not a poor student, I will be able to buy this beautiful bedspread. But until that day comes it will have to be Primark or Ikea for me... doesn't make me love this lovely duvet cover any less though! There are also a few other lovely things below that I am coveting as a result of visiting Urban outfitters website...
