As a young child I had a sort of fascination with drawing on the walls. I always found it irresistible and so appealing. I think it was something about having all that space to draw, along with the fact that I wasn't allowed to do it of course! So naturally I love the idea of chalkboard paint. There are just so many ways to use it and to let your creative juices flow. After trawling the wonderful world wide web of blogs I found some really lovely ideas.

Via Bedzine - I think this is a great idea, and all sorts of things can be painted with chalkboard paint: bottles, boxes, plant pots etc.
I love this! It's a brilliant way of writing up and remembering some of my favourite recipes.

I stumbled upon this amazing series of photographs/drawings on Ben Heine's website. (There's more on his blog too!) I love how amazingly creative these little works of art are: combining photography and illustration with a result that makes me smile! They're so dreamy and imaginative... enjoy!
I love this colouring book wallpaper designed by Jon Burgerman. I was always a child who doodled and coloured in... I won the colouring-in competition twice at primary school :) and I just know that, given the chance, I would have spent every waking moment trying to fill every white space! What I needed as my doodling outlet was this fabulous wallpaper.
Sending mixed messages to children about the "do not draw on the walls" rule? I say that this is just plain old good fun! You'd definitely have to stockpile felt tip pens though... how annoying would it be to run out halfway through!
I'm just waiting for a cupcake themed colouring book wallpaper and I'm there!
