As many of my fellow tweeters, bloggers and facebook friends may know, I have just returned from a holiday travelling around Italy. We spent a weekend In Falerone, near Fermo, on the East coast of central Italy, where we visited friends. Any trip to Italy cannot be complete without the tasting of proper Italian ice cream... and so our Italian freinds took us to the most amazing Gelateria (or Ice cream bar) in their nearby town of Fermo...
If you are ever in that neck of the woods you simply MUST got there. It is called
Kokonuts and the ice cream really was quite special. Our lovely Italian friends told us it is quite famous in the area, and people go there up until 2am for ice cream, a concept that was quite strange to us, in England, people are either asleep or out partying at that time!
The decor was brilliant, the whole place had a really modern feel and the atmosphere was great. People came to Kokonuts in groups as a place to socialise and enjoy the ice cream. They also have either live music or karaoke every Thursday in June.
Let's get down to business... the ice cream! There was a huge array of flavours to choose from, and were available as a simple as an ice cream cone, or as complicated as a huge ice cream sundae, with intricately cut fruit "flowers" as edible decoration. I chose a frozen yoghurt ice cream, served in a white chocolate basket with wafers, fresh strawberries, chocolate sauce, biscuit bits and whipped cream... It was epic!

What glorious weather we're having!! What's the betting that this is as good as it gets now for the whole summer! Everyone had hit the beaches and parks in droves today, you've got to make the most of it while it lasts I say! I decided to take a break from uni work, essays and revision for a few hours while my little sister was down to visit. We spent the day being tourists in our own town :)

We stopped for some delicious ice cream at Di Pola's. The ice cream is lovingly home made and delicious, I had one scoop of zesty orange and one of chocolate and Fay had malteasers and mint choc chip...
I've never really been one for getting up-to-date phones - I've still got a Sega Megadrive and PS1! And I'm quite content as long as my phone is able to send texts and recieves calls. But recently I've been finding myself wanting something a bit more from my phone (although not quite wanting it enough to pay more money for it) and I've never wanted an iphone more than now after seeing these brilliant iphone cozies made by Yummy Pocket.
Which one do you like best? I love the Game Boy iphone cozy as it appeals to my retro-gaming geek side! :)

Their windows look great too! It was a beautiful sunny day, and me and my sis sat outside on the chairs provided enjoying the sunshine and frozen yoghurt. They also have big colourful picnic style benches inside the shop to sit on and escape the bad British weather.
Fay (on the left) went for chocolate and strawberries and I (on the right) decided on raspberry and white chocolate toppings. If you're ever around in Brighton and need a fix for your sweet tooth then I highly recommend you check Lick out!
