Laura Ashley - Gorgeous Archive Print Floral Dresses!

Laura Ashley are bringing out these gorgeous archive floral print dresses next month. I for one am completely in love with these dresses already: the shape, the gorgeous floral prints, the cute bows! I think that the first dress is my favourite though! They're perfect, teamed with a cardigan of course, for the impending sunny spring! Let's just count down the days until these dresses are available and the sunshine shows itself from behind the grey clouds!

Dollydagger - Scrumptiously Shiny Shoes!

After a tough day of placement I came home to see an email from my beloved Dollydagger announcing the arrival of new shoes. Now, I'm absolutely beyond useless with anything that even resembles a heel (despite, at 4'9'', really needing any extra height I can get!) but that doesn't stop me appreciating the aesthetics of a scrumptiously shiny shoe! How gorgeous are these shiny red Melissa flipflops with a cute little bow on! They're also available in black and... get this... they smell like bubblegum! Bonus!

I love Dollydagger's more classic, simple (and super shiny) shoes like the silver and red Mary-Jane shoes above and the Melissa Patchuli blue peeptoes! But I also love their more eccentric styled shoes like the Miss L Fire sapphire and garland shoes along with the exceedingly cute Maitai Cherry Wedges! Now all I need to do is a) increase my bank balance dramatically and b) learn to walk in heels without breaking my neck and/or ankles in the process!

50's Dresses For The Party Season!

The party season is now upon us! It's almost Christmas and New Year and there will be a multitude of occasions where a pretty dress is required. There's nothing I love more than an absolutely gorgeous 50's halter neck circle dress. I've got a beautiful black and white musical notes 50's circle dress that I cannot wait to unveil this Christmas! But if you havn't already got one knocking about in your wardrobe just dying to be worn for the party season, then there are some lovely ones over at Vivien Holloway!

Skulls Print 50's Circle Dress
This one is possibly my favourite (I know, shock horror! It outranks the polka dot print!?)... If only I had the funds for such a delightful dress!

Post It On - My Lovely New Coat!

I've been wanting a new coat for a while now, ever since my poor tired old coat started losing its buttons and I wanted to make sure that on my first day of teaching placement I was looking smart and wrapped up warm. As luck would have it I was chosen for the "post it on" challenge. I decided on a lovely blue coat from Tesco's Clothing website...

I absolutely love it! My wardrobe is distinctly lacking in blues and this is a welcome addition. Plus, I love the shape of the coat. Being of a slightly larger size it shows off my curves and actually gives me a waist! Hurrah! In the past I have found it really difficult to find a coat that is right for me. They're either shapeless, too expensive, or are so thick that even in the snow I overheat in minutes! So this Blue Mac from Tesco is the perfect solution for me - its function and fashion rolled into one, something I have always struggled to find when coat shopping, so thank you Tesco!

Now for the next lovely blog to recieve the post it on challenge........ Frills'n'Spills you lovely ladies are up next!

Double Dose of Polka Dots - Dotty Doggy Delights!

My work colleague has just got the most adorable puppy and he came into work with photos of the little cutie (which they have named Jensen... such a good dog name). So, this week's double dose of polka dots has a pet theme...

Blue Polka Dot Designer Dog Life Jacket From $20.99-$33.99
Ok, so this is a very specialist item, I'm not sure I know many people with a need for a doggy life jacket (maybe because I don't know anyone with a yacht, narrowboat or even a dinghy...) However, it is cute, and it is polka dot...

Polka Dot Chi Chi Mod Pink Bed for $1540 From The Ritzy Rover Pet Boutique
This item would definitely break the bank, but if you're lying on a pretty and comfortable bed, why not afford your dog the same luxury? Admittedly one of those cushioned ones from any cheap pet shop would do, but this one is pretty and polka dot!
