I've just returned from the most amazing trip to The Gambia - it was one of the best things I have ever done! To see more of the hard work we did in the classrooms have a little look at this blog post. While we were having breaks from the scrubbing and painting we went into the playgrounds to meet the children in the school and use some of the resources that we donated... So here are a few photos of the fun we had!

I visited Bijilo Lower Basic school in November with my school, Southlands in Chorley. It was the best week of my life! Everybody I met was so beautiful, upbeat and inspiring. I am doing a carboot in April to raise money for the school as the roof on one of the outbuildings is leaking and will cost about £3000 to repair.
I think it's brilliant that the school has so many links and is continuing to advance and progress.
Please keep me posted on any other projects you carry out in the Gambia!
